Heat Wave

Most probably the worst thing that could happen to you when you are staying in Oudtshoorn, South Africa, is a heat wave. Oudtshoorn is already a very hot town to stay in. Oudtshoorn is also known for the ostriches and the Cango Caves.
I can't take the heat anymore! There is no escape, it feels like you are being covered by this huge blanket and there is no way out of it. Today I just stayed at home. I have been watching movies the whole time. Imagine a room that consists of four walls and two of those walls are actually made of glass. Now imagine that this room is situated at the corner of the house and the glass corner of the house gets the most sun. By now you should have the idea that this room is kind of like an oven and as the time goes by it just gets warmer and warmer. Some of you might be wondering why I didn't switch on the air conditioning... well that is because there is no air conditioning.
I opened the front door and the windows but all that came in was hot air. Feeling sweaty and lazy just laying on the couch watching movies and just praying that some how the temperature will go down.
We have a swimming pool but the sun was to extreme. I'd rather figure out a way to deal with the heat than the risk of getting skin cancer. And I am not exaggerating, that is what it felt like. Well that's life in the Klein Karoo for you.
This global warming thing isn't working for me. I wish I could find out the solution for this whole global warming problem or some sort of equation that could make a human being evolve instantly and cope with the surrounding changes.
I believe that it's up to me to find a way of saving the human race. My super hero name will be "Super Timmy"! And my slogan "Global warming, world peace".
